Als Nachfolger für Joe Chialo, A&R Director Polydor national bei der Polydor Island Group, holt Universal Music Axel Erler, der bislang als Senior A&R Manager bei wea tätig war. Er hatte bei wea im November 2001 die Nachfolge des heutigen eastwest-Chefs Markus Bruns angetreten. Zuvor war der A&R-Experte u. a. als Managing Director bei edel publishing Germany sowie als A&R Manager bei Universal Music Publishing und MCA Publishing/PolyGram Songs tätig. Chialo wechselt zum 1. April als General Manager zum Münchner Label Cheyenne Records, wo er direkt an Holger Roost-Macias, Geschäftsführer Tresor TV Produktion, berichtet.
