Vom 3. bis 7. Oktober 2012 richtet die SSC Group in der Tonhalle und im Robert-Schumann-Saal des Museums Kunstpalast in Düsseldorf die zweite Ausgabe des New Fall Festivals aus. Erste Acts stehen fest: So bestreitet die international renommierte oberbayrische Band The Notwist am 3. Oktober das Eröffnungskonzert in der Tonhalle, die rund 1700 Sitzplätze hat. Für den 4. Oktober ist ein Auftritt von Get Well Soon im 800 Besucher fassenden Robert-Schumann-Saal fix. Am 7. Oktober spielen an gleicher Stätte die Tindersticks auf, mit dem niederländischen Folkpop-Quartett The Black Atlantic im Vorprogramm.
