Opera and Riot Games Launch Multi-year Partnership
Ahead of the League of Legends World Championship, Opera and Riot have launched what appears to be a long-term partnership. This will see the Opera GX browser, designed specifically for gamers, become the preferred browser partner of Worlds 2024 and beyond.
To kick off the partnership, Opera and Riot Games are taking advantage of the Opera GX gaming browser for the broadcast of the League of Legends World Championship 2024. In total, there will be six special browser mods for League of Legends that will include a Riot Corner, which will display the 2024 World Championship schedule. Other features include special access to a co-streamer hub where Opera GX users can search for tournament streams in their language and from their favorte content creator. Exclusive drops for Opera GX users are also planned.
